With my book completed, I am free to conitue exploring life and raising rare disease awareness. I am working with Lance Mackey, at his Come Back Kennel, with the goal of running in the 2013 Alaskan Iditarod Dog Sled Race

SUMMIT!!!!! After walking up and standing on the summit, I decide it's safer to sit down and have my photo holding the National Organization of Rare Disorders Banner taken by Scott Woolums. Now, it's time to take my medidation and head down. On May 23, 2010 at 9:02 AM Nepal time, I became one of the 268 women to have climbed to the top of the World!

Mt. Everest: What an amazing experience!
Back in Kathmandu we were given a certificate and an award from the Minister of Tourism.
Back at base camp the next day and yes my face looked that bad.

Arrived at Camp 4 (26,000 ft) around noon and left for summit at 9 PM.
