Facts: A Quick Look
Why I created this Blog:
- To Raise Rare Disease Awareness.
- To inspire people to make donations to the Vasculitis Foundation.
- To show that we can reach for our dreams – no matter the obstacles. The only limits we have are the ones we place on ourselves!
- To impress upon people the value of life. Life is for living, loving, and experiencing everything and everyone in our world or other worlds (Yes I would like to walk on the Moon, but that is for another day).
About Me:
- 51 year old female, wife, and mother.
- Diagnosed with Limited Wegener’s Granulomatosis August 1, 2007.
- Functionally blind in left eye (from disease).
- On a immunosuppressant medication to control disease.
- Part-time faculty at California State University, Fullerton teaching in the Health Science Department.
- Master of Science in Kinesiology, California State University, Fullerton.
- Maintain an income tax preparation business with my husband.
My Hobbies:
- SCUBA Diving
- Ballroom Dancing
- Mountain Climbing
- Underwater videography
- Loving my wonderful husband of 19 years.
- San Diego Chargers season ticket holder for 25 years.

- First Aid and CPR Instructor, American Red Cross, 1993 to 2002.
