Reaching Beyond the Clouds

We just arrived in Mt. Shasta City. Larry and I are leaving tomorrow to climb up and check out the view from the summit.

Larry and I climbed Mt. Baldy (10,064 ft) again today. I’m trying to get back in shape after breaking my leg four months ago. We leave to climb Mt. Shasta (14,162 ft) on Tuesday: A little vacation away from the computer :)

I had lunch today with some of the Orange County Everest summiters. It’s great to get together and chat about upcoming events and adventures.

Paul and Denise (summited with me), Bill is the oldest American to summit, John is the second oldest American, and next to me is John's son, Ryan (they summited the day after we did).

I just returned from San Francisco where I gave my Reaching Beyond the Clouds presentation at a rare disease, cystinosis, conference. I always find it inspiring to be around others who are dealing with rare diseases. They are an amazing groups of people.
