Mt. Baldy Summit

Last night Larry and I wanted a nice evening out, so we went to climb Mt. Baldy. Because of traffic we got to the trail head late and had to zoom up to the summit. We signed the register at 6:10 PM and sunset was at 7:56 PM. We made it just in time and there was a nice gentleman named Llody who took this photo. Coming down the Devil’s backbone at night was fun :) Got home at midnight – perfect “night out” with my love!

We started from camp (9,400 ft) at 2:30 AM and summited Mt. Shasta (14,179 ft) at 7:30 AM. It was an absolutely beautiful day.
