Reaching Beyond the Clouds

Today a group of friends met on the summit of Mt. Baldy (10,064 ft) for my second book signing event. Afterwards, we all went to the Mt. Baldy Lodge for lunch and while eating Tim Medvetz walked in. Tim is one of the climbers on Discovery Channel’s Everest: Beyond the Limit: The show that inspired me to climb Mt. Everest. 

Cal State Fullerton released their annual magazine on students, staff, and faculty who have made a difference out in the public eye. Take a look at pages 5-9. They did an amazing job this my story! Public Affairs Hightlights 2010-2011 .

On Rare Disease Day 2011, I was invited to share information about rare disease awareness and some of my story on The Dennis Miller Radio show. It was my first and only “live” interview and I was quite nervous.
