Reaching Beyond the Clouds

I was invited back to The Dennis Miller Show for Rare Disease Day again this year, and this year it is a rare, day (Feb 29th) – Leap Year!

I finished my first race and it was one of the toughest 300-mile races: The Yukon Quest 300. There is no way the describe the feeling of crossing 300 miles of Alaskan wilderness with a team of 10 amazing dogs. I started on Saturday at 3:10 PM and finished on Tuesday at 11:30 PM. Just amazing!

Lance drew bib #16 for the 1000 mile race and I got bib #6 (56) for the 300 mile race. We start at 3 PM and you can follow my progess on this very challenging course at  http://yukonquest.com/site/yq300-race-updates/
