Reaching Beyond the Clouds

Drove through a crazy wind/snow storm and arrived in Glennallen last night. Just checked in for the Copper Basin 300. This is Heidi, the race director. She helped me out on the Gin Gin and is a very nice person. It has been snowing and blowing for over a week here but they are working hard to keep the race trail clear and safe :)

You can go to the CB300 website and follow the mushers. Because of the snow and wind, it may be slow going. Temps excepted to be -40 degrees. But it is what it is – dog sled racing!

My next race is the Copper Basin 300 mile Race and it is tough one!
