Reaching Beyond the Clouds

Just finshed packing my sled for Saturday’s race. I will be running the next two days like I was in the race: training, training, and more training.

Six days until my first race! Working hard on skills!!! Normally people spend many years or their whole lives training to race dog sled teams and I am on the super fast-track with the best teacher – Lance Mackey, and Cain and Braxton.

When I miss my family, I go out in the yard to get hugs and kisses from the racing dogs :) This is Prego.

Tomorrow I leave for Alaska for more training and to run my first race On Dec 17th. I am very excited about completely my first dog sled race! The craziness continues!
