by Cindy on Oct.29, 2011

Guides Bill Allen, Scott Woolums, and Sherpa on Everest Summit 2010

Scott Woolums, who was my Everest expedition leader and my guide on many other big mountains, just finished his 5th round of summiting the Seven Summits (the tallest mountain on each continent).

Dogs on the brain!

by Cindy on Oct.27, 2011

I’m now offically entered in all my winter races!

I am so excited I wake up dreaming about racing. I have dogs-on-the-brain :)

My profile is listed for the Yukon Quest 300-mile Race which is my last race of the season.

Getting excited!

by Cindy on Oct.20, 2011

I just received confirmation that I am officially entered in three of the four racing I will be running this winter. The last race, the Willow Tog 300-mile, has not yet released their musher entry forms. I can’t wait to get back up to Alaska for more training and dog-bonding.

UPDATED: For various reasons, I will be racing in the Yukon Quest 300 instead of the Willow Tug 300.

Officially Entered

Just got home from climbing Mt. Baldy to find I am “officially” the 16th musher to start the Copper Basin 300 Mile Sled Dog Race! The race starts on January 14th.
