The Doctors TV Show

Life is full of surprises. Last week I had a medical procedure and CBS filmed it! It will air this Thursday on The Doctors TV Show. Locally it is channel 9 at 11 AM. I will attach the link and you can get for your local listing. DISCLAIMER: I have no idea how it has been edited and I am more than a little apprehensive about how it will be presented.

Cindy, I didn’t see the show but from the Doctor’s website it only showed briefly you getting the back ablation treatment. No mention anywhere about Wegeners or Vasculitis. I hope the main show did have more about that.

Hi,
Because the focus of this show was how heat can help people, I knew that they would not cover Wegener’s or Vasculitis. I was hoping that they would mention my full name so people could find this website and learn the full story.
The is good news: There may be a future show that includes imformation about rare diseases. So keep watching :)

Dear Cindy,
I want to say Thank You, I know what you went through w/ your back pain. I have had several surgeries and now my diagnosis is Failed Back syndrome. The Radio Frequency Ablation looks amazing. You mentioned you teach @ Cal State Fullerton, so does my Godmother, perhaps you know her?? Anyway, thanks for the bucketful of hope and the best of luck w/ your climbing – I used to, also, but smaller scale – The Adirondacks and Sierra Nevada Range. I miss it so much and want to pass this on to my son, if I could just get out of this pain. Please feel free to contact me re: my Godmother.
I want to protect her name and wouldn’t put it up w/out permission.
