How Heat Can Change Your Life

For over three years, Larry has given up everything he’s wanted to do so I could pursue my Everest dream. Finally, we got back to diving and have just returned from 8 day in Roatan, Honduras. After finding out that there were 3 university classes (totalling about 40 students), Larry went to the management of the resort and made arrangements for me to give my Everest Presentation. I certainly didn’t have that planned but I did have the PowerPoint Show on the computer I had with me. So, in my continuing effort to Raise Rare Disease Awareness I said, “What the heck.” After all, these young people are the future.

After taking the NORD and Vasculitis Foundation banners to the top of Mt. Everest, I thought I should take them a different direction: underwater.

I am on a working vacation in Roatan, Honduras. It is a reward for my husband who was given up all his vacations for years to help me train for climbing Everest. Now he can dive all day, I will dive a little, and continue to work on my book.
