Reaching Beyond the Clouds

Larry and I summited Mt. Baldy today with the new 2010 vasculitis foundation t-shirt that I got yesterday at the 2010 Vasculitis Symposium. It was a nice day on the summit and we met some new people :)

I just received a video of our Everest climb made by Vivian, one of my team members. Watching it brought back so many memories and emotions. I actually teared up watching it. Were are so many aspects to this whole experience. People ask me “How was it?” I am at a loss for words which I think is a first. I have always had something to say, but this is different. That is why I have to write the book: to answer that question and more.

Today was the first time I had hiked since Mt. Everest. On the summit we meet some Mt. Baldy hiking friends and some new friends.
