Reaching Beyond the Clouds

We have been moving up and through the valley and things are going well. Last night a person came into our lodge that was very sick from the altitude. After spending the night in a recompression bag,  she was helivaced off the mountain. Were went through a blessing ceremony today given to us by the Lama Geshe at Pangpoche. We will stay the next two nights at 13, 500 ft while our bodies adjust to the altitude.

Yesterday we left Namche Bazar. It was a beautiful hillside village. Tonight we will stay at a monestary.

We went on an acclimitization hike today to 12,500 feet. Tomorrow we are contining up the Khumbu range toward base camp.
