Moving Up

Today we climbed 1/3 of the way to Camp 1. We practiced on the ropes and
crossing the ladders! I will try and get a picture of me crossing a ladder
posted, but we leave early in the morning for 5 days at Camps ! and 2. I
should have some great pictures when I get back down. All is well on the
mountain: It is amazingly beautiful here – but a bit cold. Miss home and
family: only 6 more weeks.

Thought about you a lot as we hiked around Sedona last weekend & huffed & puffed after a mile or two, haha. Also it got down to 50 degrees on one hike & the wind blew a little. “Brrr” was my forst thought, followed almost immediately by “wow I am wimpy; I wonder what Cindy’s doing right now??” Love following your adventure, and as I said before…totally inspired by you! Hope a big homecoming party is being planned! And I hope to make good on my offer to buy you a drink when you get home.
