Reaching Beyond the Clouds

Life has been quite hectic getting the final hundreds of details worked out for this journey to Mt. Everest. A few days ago, ABC Network TV was at my home filming for Face to Face with Diane Sawyer. I do not know when it will air, but I will try to keep you informed: if possible.

For over two years my husband has been my training partner and today was our last climb together before I leave for Mt. Everest in 10 days. After summiting Mt. Baldy, we went to our favorite post-climb eatery.

Today I was interviewed on All Things Considered by Alex Cohen of KCPP, a NPR affiliate.

WOW! I just received pictures of a bake sale going on right now at CSUF to help raise funds for my climbing costs. It was put on by the President Jordan and students from Eta Sigma Gamma Honors Society with help of staff and faculty! It all looks so good and what a wonderful presentation.
