Nice place to meet people . . .

We, hubby and I, just returned from our weekly climb of Mt. Baldy. Two weeks ago, just before reaching the summit, we met Stuart: a very nice man. Today (as if it was arranged) at almost the exact location: there was Stuart! So, we sat down and chatted for a while on the summit (it was a beautiful day). I found out that he is 67 years old and has four resent battles cancer: And now he is back climbing Mt. Baldy! Stuart represents the spirit and will to continue living life that I so admire – I wish that he could join me and trek to Everest Base Camp.

I got a good laugh our of the posting of my photo. I have not been up Baldy for some time and have resorted to Mt. Wilson which is about half the distance from my house in Long Beach and… the weather is easier on my body.
I send you my heartfelt good wishes and best of luck in your endeavor which is rapidly approaching.
